Ifeoma is co-host of PoliTea. She is an attorney, advocate, and problem solver, with Capitol Hill, local government, corporate, non-profit, and grassroots expertise. Ifeoma, also called “Ify” by close friends, has served as an expert on MSNBC, CNN, PBS, and HuffPost Live, and is currently a blogger for Huffington Post and other outlets.  She has been recognized for her work in the current Movement for Black Lives, including her work on the Ferguson Action Legal Defense Committee.

A first-generation Nigerian-American, raised in Trenton, Ifeoma now resides in Brooklyn.



Turquoise is co-host of PoliTea. She is a lawyer with nonprofit, corporate, state and federal government, and start-up experience. She is passionate about creating educational, economic, political and community engagement opportunities for people of color, particularly youth. She is outspoken, unapologetically black, and a believer in #blackgirlmagic and the power of prayer.

Raised in Tacoma, WA, Turquoise resides in Harlem where she can regularly be found taking in its rich cultural offerings and chatting up neighbors over cocktails at a local restaurant.
